The role of the speed controller in pneumatic tools
The speed controller of pneumatic tools allows users to adjust the tool's rotation speed according to their needs, providing more flexibility in operation.
The speed controller (built-in or external) adjusts the rotation speed/striking speed of the pneumatic tool by controlling the amount of high-pressure air entering the tool's intake.
One of the advantages of the speed controller is the ability to adjust the rotation speed/striking speed according to job requirements, which is crucial for applications that require different rotation speeds/striking speeds.
For example, for delicate work, a lower rotation speed is needed to avoid excessive material removal or damage to the workpiece. On the other hand, for tasks that require quick material removal, increasing the rotation speed can improve efficiency.
If the air intake is increased, the rotation speed/striking speed will increase, and the power will also increase.
If the air intake is decreased, the rotation speed/striking speed will decrease, and the power will also decrease. It is not just a reduction in rotation speed without affecting the power.
* The speed controller cannot increase the air intake beyond the flow rate of the intake side. The adjustment range can only be lower than the flow rate of the intake side.
